Sometime between sept 5 and 7th...

we will FINALLY be closing on the homestead. All the papers and approvals are now in. We just need to find out from the escrow people when to show up to sign everything and get the keys. They are shooting for the 5th, but because of the holiday, it might be a day or 2 later. That was a very.long.process. Not that we weren't warned. took 6 months from start to finish. FYI if you are buying a bankruptcy, it just takes a looonnnnnggggg time.

Anyway, after all these years, I will officially be a homesteader in about a week. =0)

might be the 4th, actually. =0) I'll get pics when we get out there. BTW, I just found out that it is going to cost us 500 to rent the equipment to bush hog the place. WOW!
