Daughter's new kitten
This is the third fur kid we got last Saturday. Her name is Flossie (I call her Flo) and she lives in my daughter's room. She is about 4 months old and just the sweetest little kitty. I had a hard time taking her picture because she wants to come to you to be petted. I took two shots so she could be seen better.
The daughter's other cat, Baby is not impressed.

The little one has a very demented look in that second picture and Baby seems to have that inscrutable Vulcan look.

Baby has been a lone cat in the daughter's room for two years. She is the kitten that had a five mile ride on the back axle of a car before my daughter rescued her. The day we brought the kitten home and the next day Baby was dangerous to be near. She would just sit up on her perch and growl. Everyone was afraid to go near her, with good reason. She has calmed down now and actually plays with the kitten, so we are all relieved. Flo is a sweetie and loves everyone. I think she will be a great adult cat. And I think she will be twice Baby's size, so she better watch out.

She looks more like a boy to me, but I think it's because I had a male many years ago that looked very similar.

Flo is so cute! Baby doesn't look impressed at all. She's probably thinking "You don't put Baby in the corner"
Isn't that the line from the Patrick Swayze/Jennifer Gray movie? I'm drawing a blank on the name right now....

Flo is beautiful.
She looks alot like my Pokey that died back in 2007. He was a huge cat, at his highest weight he weighed 27 lbs. and would take a whole chair when he slept. He was 17 when he died but was a very tiny kitten when I got him at 8 wks.

Nice lookin wormy little cats you have. Flossie can come stay with us if you need to send it away. She clearly isn't concerned with the bedspread.

Reason: 'Wormy' is a term of endearment. Don't flame.

Cute! I love tuxedo kitties. When my kids were growing up we have six of them (mama had five tuxedo kittens). I only have one now, would love to have more.

Three?!?! The ones we got Saturday were just the latest three. We have quite a few more. I'd have a hundred if I could. Of course they would all have to wear name tags. I have trouble saying the right name now.

I had a tuxedo for seven years and he died on the 4th of July 2006. I was at the flea market six weeks later and there was a tuxedo kitten that didn't look exactly like my Louie, but he seemed to give off a vibe that said he was the same. He was born the same day my old Louie died. So what could I do...I named him Louie 2, the Sequel. He answers to Lou or any other name. He's an attention hound. Can't get enough petting. Not the brightest bulb on the tree, but I like him.

My best cat when I was a little girl was a tuxedo...he was very old when he came into my life, he was alreayd 14 years old then. He was my constant companion. When i fell and broke my back the first time, he guarded me and would not let the paramedics close..they had to chase him off! he was put to sleep when he was 25, and I was heartbroken...I love tuxedos. Keep hoping one will magically appear on the doorstep...

That was very old for a cat. I'm glad you got to enjoy him as long as you did. They must have had about a half dozen tuxedo kittens at the adoption event last Saturday. One looked exactly like Louie when I first got him. I would have taken them all home if I could have.
