Taking a Trip--MO

Anyone around the Bonne terre Farmington area of Mossuri? Are there any good motels around there? B&B's? I am visiting an uncle who had by pass surgery this week end in that area. Any tips would be appreciated.

Best Chinese EVER: Ho Wah's (Ho Wah Locations | Ho Wah Chinese Restaurants) also known as Chau's in Potosi, but that is out of your way.

There are several cute little B&B's in the area but the one that sticks out in my head (from all the walks as a kiddo right past it) is the Victorian Veranda. Other than that the Red Cedar Lodge is the only other place that is decent and nearby. I'd call the Chamber of Commerce in town though (573-358-4000) and see if they have any other B&B's listed.

Bonne Terre isn't the prettiest place to some, but she's home...so enjoy!

DH and I stayed at Rosner's....been several years but they had a decent buffet.
Roseners Motel, Restaurant, and Meeting Hall

I hear there is a BBQ place in Farmington that is great, unfortunately I don't know the name...lotta help, huh? Supposed to be a GREAT BIG place, rather than the small ones you usually see.

Tried to call my friend in Park Hills to find out the name...has his phone turned off. If I can get in touch with him later, I can give you some up to date info.

Rosner's does have a really good buffet...don't know what the pricing on the rooms is though. I know, not much help.

The BBQ place you're thinking of might be Branding Iron...pretty good too. And if you're a fish lover, try out Catfish Kettle.
