It's amazing what you can do if motivated. And protecting others especially kids is a very good motivator.

Pretty funny actually, until you get to the part that stated it had rabies!

I'd like to think our nearest weapon wouldn't be a frying pan or a table, but the pistol on DH's hip!

It sounds like a warped comedy act. His friend grabbed it thinking it was a dog? Then grabbed a table to run after it with? LOL Who is this dumb friend? I bet he never lives that down. That is even funnier than chasing it with a frying pan.

Silly question, but why didn't the pit fight back too? They are strong animals. And it is sad that the animal still has to be quarantined for six weeks.
Good Job to the camper though. He was a brave guy who thought quick and acted with courage.
