Video of our farm...

Actually, it's a video of the 30 acres on our south side, but you can see a lot of our farm and our red barn (I didn't realize the trim was falling off the barnloft doors...need to get that fixed). The acreage was listed for auction yesterday and we're going to do our best to get it.

Anyway, the video is a good representation of what I listen to every day (I'm surprised none of the dogs were barking!).

Is that ground in crp now?What is the land used for?That property is really different than around my area here.It looks like a wildlife paradise.

For several years now it's been cut for hay. In fact, they just cut it so it would look better at auction time, I guess. I don't know if it's still in CRP (ours is). The first 30 seconds of the video really shows more of our property than it does the land up for auction.

I am keeping my fingers crossed that we can get this. We do NOT want someone building on it and would plant the front 15 acres in trees. The back 15 would be fenced for pasture.
