Most unusual thing on your walls?

What is the strangest/most unusual thing on your walls?

My dh thinks I have 'flipped my lid'.. On the barn there is a metal seat from some sort of antique farm machinery (he told me but I can remember what it was) It has been hanging there since we got married almost 40yrs ago. In Jan. we were walking thru our woods and I found two more seats...attached to a planter.... AND I want these three on my living room wall. I think they are beautiful...

This started me thinking-- I bet you all have strange/unusal things on your walls. So, let's hear them...

In the past we've had deer heads, several large-mouthed bass, and even a super large bluegill hanging on the walls, but we passed all that on to our friends who have hunting cabins.

I think maybe the most unusual wall decoration are the Sunday School teaching posters from the late 40s. I only have 3 but they remind me of my mom. She used similar ones in the 50s to teach the youth of our church.

I have a cross that my brother made out of wood for my DH, it's the word Jesus with the center s being the upright for the cross and the je on one side and us on the other for the cross board. I think it's unsual.

A little barnwood sign by the front door (inside) that says:

All bring joy here. Some when they enter, others when they leave.

It's a real conversation piece.

Also have a pretty little hand painted porcelain plaque with a cottage on it and the saying, This is my house and I'll do as I darn please.

I have the little man balancing on his nose from the game tip-it perched on the corner of a picture frame in my living room.
Been there for 15 years.
Nobody ever notices him.

DH's granddad's old fiddle hangs in the living room, along with my mom's abacus (that she actually used to use) and the luggage tag from her suitcase when she first came to the states - Tachikawa AFB to Travis AFB, CA. I'm terribly sentimental about old family stuff, but any old stuff lights me up...those old metal seats would sure find a place somewhere in my house!

Have had an old cross-cut saw on the wall in the past...not too strange, I guess.

Probably for us it would be large piece of whale baleen, a mountain goat mount or a pair of extremely old Bhuddist Cymbals complete with prayer flags I picked up in Mongolia.

In the family room I have an antique fishing pole that my dh's great uncle made for his dad, dh thought it was weird to hang a fishing rod on the wall but I have it in a grouping & I love it.

In the small bathroom I have one of those antique type traps my Fil gave me. It's the kind that snaps on the animals foot.

My mother (83) found an old metal seat years ago while cleaning out Grandma's chicken coop and had it made into a stool - it's mounted on small barrell (or keg) and sits in the kitchen.

Dog slobber.

Actually, we have two old runner sleds that my DH's grandfather made hanging in the basement, one with an old time pair of ice skates hanging from it.

But still. Dog slobber.
