Went to go see Lorette Lynn

On Sat night I was able t go see LL in concert-first time I have seen her perform live and only my second concert ever! She is such a lady, and the show was great her duaghters opened for her and her guys played a few songs then she came out. Beautiful dress and she sang a few songs and then sat down...at one point the guys were doing a song and one of them was standing on her dress-it was hilarious watching her trying to get him off without being obvious finally she gave a him a little punch on the leg and when he looked down at her she told him off and pushed his foot off. We all were cracking up.She perfored whatever was throw at her by th eaudience an dclosed with Coal Miner's Daughter.

The absoulte proof of what a trooper she is - she performed with 2 cracked ribs, seems she has her little GDaughter with her and one day the little thing got under her chair while she was sitting and when Loretta got up she tripped on her and fell!

It was so nice how everyone in the adudience was chatting to each other before the shw we were sitting next to an elderly couple the Hubby was a huge fan and his kids bought him the tickets for his BDay. Very pleasant evening EXCEPT for the couple in front of us who had no respect for others but there has to be one in every crowd I guess!

I saw her earlier this year and she was wonderful! Glad you got to go!

It was your post about seeing her that got me to look at her website "just in case" and I saw she was coming to a little theater north of us(my son has danced ballet there many times) and it is a greta venure because it is smaller and very personable. She is a hoot just like you imagine her to be!
