Clementine orange boxes

Anyone have any great ideas on what to do with them? They are so cute and look handy but I cant think of any handy things to do with them lol I hate throwing them away for some reason

They usually end up as "junk catchers" on my table

Around here you just sit something you don't want, but might be useful to someone else, out on the curb and it won't be out there long. People make a practice here driving up and down the roads looking for stuff set out.

Cover with fabric and they would make great "breakfast in bed" boxes!

I received a Christmas "basket" in one of these boxes. It had grass type filler like used in Easter baskets and included nuts, candy, teas, small kitchen gadgets and the like. It was a clever presentation.

Use them in cupboards to organize spices, mixes, extracts, etc...
Put them in utensil or catch all drawers to corral items
Cover them with fabric and use as gift boxes, Easter baskets
Gift them to a little one, boy or girl, to use as a doll house, barn, parking garage, for their playtime
Organize your card games, decks of playing cards, poker chips for game night.
Go to www.pinterest.com and I'm sure there will be a lot more ideas there.

My sister just gave me four new ones yesterday as some of mine were seeing their age, I was a one happy person.

They are much sturdier than the plastic trays for holding seedlings! I fill them up with small yogurt containers and turn them into seedling trays! Plus, you can write on them, so the days of planting 60 "mystery tomatoes" are over.

Very good idea.

I use these when I deliver bars of soap to stores. I used to use flat wicker baskets but didn't always get the baskets back, so I switched to the clementine flats.

Or spray paint and use as you would a basket.

I cant even find the ones in the boxes here! All the ones I see come in the mesh bags. I could be overlooking them I reckon.

I was just going to say that I use them to store my soap in once it's done curing.

We don't like clemetines but I have a box I use to store my plastic bowl lids in. Just stand them on end in the box. Been using it about 10 years now.

Great ideas, so far we've stacked then on garage shelves to hold meaningless stuff we don't need.

Years ago, when I was teaching preschool, we would paint them and then plant bulbs in them...made a pretty display when they came up.
