Good laugh at the Dr. office

I have a lot of medical problems in my life . I have used the same doctors office and hospital for 34 years now and we are all friends (small Town ).
Their is a guy working at the clinic that is a DR. Asst. 1 step above a Nurse Partationer sp . Anyway he has his son with him when he came in the room with my extra large folder and he told his son that everything that you need to know about the medical field is right here sitting on that table .

Bless your heart, you sound like me and my husband. We went to our family doc yesterday and had a similar conversation and laugh. Our doc is 79 and still practicing medicine. We're both 61 so he doesn't seem old to us at all. I think between the 3 of us we had all the medical woes covered.

At least he didn't say, "..And here's the guy who paid for our boat!"

I'm not sure I'd say a Physician Assistant is a step above a Nurse Practitioner. They're just different. They play a vital part of our medical care system. One great thing about these medical providers is that they're better able to spend more time with their patients.
