Another Update for on Dude!

Hello,

Dude is still resting on his strong pain meds waiting for his surgery. I haven't seen him get up for the past few days except to go out to use the bathroom, then right back in to lay down. He is still a happy guy, just not getting around well at all :-(

The total cost of the surgery (pre, during, and post) has been reduced by $300, and with all the generosity we have gotten we only have a little over $250 more to raise and we can get our Dude fixed!!!

For those of you following Dude's story...feel free to visit his website anytime...it is in my signature below :-) Pretty soon I hope to have new photos of Dude after his surgery!! For now here is an old picture of Dude and my son (who by the way turned 3 years old yesterday, time flies!!!!

Can't the vet go ahead and fix him now and let you pay the 250.00 in payments. Looks like you have the biggest part to pay up front. I know our vet would.

Wow, I didn't notice I messed up the title for this thread, oops! The vets office said they must have the money up front, I guess they got screwed over too many times and don't want to mess with collection agencies. My daughter has made $20 today selling her baked goods :-) It is so amazing that just last week I was sure we were going to have to put him down and now that is a distant memory!!! He has enough pain pills for another week, and with our bake sale and me selling off horse tack and extra things around the house I am optimistic! :-)
