I'm confused. Ham is always an easter thing for us so it naturally includes baked beans, cole slaw, potato salad, pickled eggs, green beans, and coconut cake with green dyed coconut and little malted milk eggs all over the top. We always have a standing rib roast for Christmas.

Cooked apples, alone or with other ingredients, goes really well with any type of pork. Mac and cheese is a classic combo with ham. If you have a chutney, that would be something different. I personally love sweet potatoes with ham.

Blackeyed pea salad. I make mine with thinly sliced radishes & celery and a vinaigrette dressing, sometimes add artichoke hearts and feta too.

We are going simple tonight since we are renting a house in the Nashville area. Ham, sweet potatoes and fresh green beans.

Then we are bring out the goodies for the Packer Game at 7pm. (FIL is a huge fan): Cheese Ball, Summer Sausage, Mixed Nuts, Christmas Hard Candy and PBR. All of FIL's favorites to watch the game.

We went simple too..
Ham and potatoes with broccoli.

I was going to go all out..corn pudding, spinach casserole, sweet potatoes etc.. but just realized that simple was all we really wanted. I am leaving room for a ham sandwich on onion roll around 7 tonight!!

I did make a chocolate cake though.

And veggie mac and cheese goes great with ham.

We had ham for dinner (12 noon) smoked with cherrywood. Left over cornbread dressing, green beans, potato salad and for sweet I made sweet potato casserole with brown sugar and pecan crunch topping. We don't like marshmallows on our sweet potatoes.

We've all ready done the Christmases with all the in-laws, so today is just simple meal for me, dh, and 3 of the 4 kids (eldest is deployed). Will be putting dinner on the table in about 1/2 hr, after dh gets in from hunting (late doe season here).

Ham (raised by mil), butternut squash (from this year's garden, stored in basement), mashed potatoes and gravy. Pecan pie for dessert.
