It STINKS!!

Big time. I bought 2 display cabinets, sight unseen--absolutely love the big one--It;s by Bassets, 72" wide, class shelves in the top, beautiful. They were brought here by hauling overnight, in freezing weather, so I loved them instantly, set them up, filled to capacity with my Dickens Village, and Fiestaware. Did I mention they were still cold??? Well, when they got warm--they stink-terrible, I'm guessing male cats were shut in the room with them. If you even touch the doors, your hands smell.
I'm supposing I will have to unload them, I've added cedar, and baking soda--What can I do??

Get a high output ozone generator and operate it in the room. Remove animals, plants and electronics from the room while you're running the unit unless you want them all to die. Check with rental places to find one locally or talk to a company that does flood and fire cleanup.

I would get some natures miracle and spray it on and wipe of with a dry cloth and repeat. I have cats and so far this stuff has not let me down.

Second the Nature's Miracle. I got a gallon of it from my feed store (where it was highly recommended) and sprayed down the brick floors and stone walls of my old root cellar this summer. It was a big renovation and I thought the smell would be a stopper, but honest to Pete the smell went with the first and only application and has not returned.

I'd've thought something as porous as brick and stone (and mortar) would still turn loose some of that smell. There were even a couple dead animals down there. But nope. Never since. I'm sold on Nature's Miracle.

We had a house where a renter kept about 15 dogs who were not housebroken. She moved and cleaned the house as far as looks, but there was still a horrible odor. A friend who was a taxidermist told us to use McKenzie Odor Eliminator and we did. It was like a miracle--totally took care of the smell. http://www.mckenziesp.com/Deodorizers-C78.aspx
