QVC Delivery
Hi, it's Old Lucky here. The wife ordered a Ninja from QVC Sunday. I've had my eye on them for a while and decided to order one for Christmas for the family. It was on easy pay and I can afford the $16 something a month payment. As I said, the wife ordered it. Normally I order things online, but she called while it was being shown on the air. Evidently they didn't recognize her phone number, so they allegedly opened a new account in her name. Okay so far. Here's where it gets screwy....we got a call about an hour ago from the people who used to live across the street from us in 2008. Their daughter bought our house from the bank. Anyway, the Ninja went to that address. We haven't lived there for 3 1/2 years and I just got an order from them at our current address in September. To make a long story short, the old neighbors said they would mail it to us. I called QVC and they said it was a new account. Okay...so then how did the computer know to send it to the old address? They had us screwed up once before and had us with two accounts, but I had made sure they canceled one of them. I guess they canceled all but the old address. I am sometimes amazed at the things that happen to us. I guess I am lucky the people called us. They could have just kept it and not said a word. Since UPS just drops packages and runs, nobody could have proven where it went. It's only 35 miles away, so it should get here for Christmas.
