They Called My Pastor Stupid

My Pastor took the Churches Computer to the Shop twice cost $400+ still wasn't working.They called my Pastor Stupid because he didn't know what he was doing.Like I told my wife most people just know how to use one but don't know how to fix them and most people know less.If you fix Computers you don't call your customers stupid.

Well my wife told him first he was over charge and she would look at it.They was suppose to have cleaned it but didn't.They put a Used Part in it Charged for a New One.She put $60 part in and it is running fine.

That sort of thing disgusts me, and it is exactly for that reason that I donate so much of my time to the computer forum. Good for your wife!

Wow...400?! Too bad you don't live round here, my dh is a wizz with computers, fixing and building and he's made some dead computers come back to life many times. And he would not charge no stinkin' 400 for the job, either.

Aw, that's a shame. And it's really nasty for an IT person to call someone stupid. If your pastor knew how to fix computers, that IT guy wouldn't get any business. Maybe if word gets around about how he treated your pastor, he'll get a lot less business.

Word of mouth is very powerful advertising. It can work positively or negatively and it sounds like this coputer dude needs some negative advertising. Do alot of folks in your area use him???

This makes me soo angry! They not only took advantage of your pastor, but insulted him at the same time.

I think I would send a letter in the mail, to the manager, maybe you can get the $$$ refunded to the church? Nothing ventured, nothing gained?

When I bought my first computer, a Gateway, I called about a minor problem--The gateway support "gentleman" told me if I didnt know what I was doing, to not use it!!
Rock, I'd send the letter mentioned above too

Personally, a pastor or not, I'd have told them where to put their computer fixing talents!
