Do you ever
start thinking of something you want to post here and daydream about it and plan out every word you are going to say? What questions you are going to ask? What pictures you will take and stuff like that. And it all feels so profound. Then a little later, you sit at the computer and Can. Not. Remember at all what you were thinking about and feeling so enthusiastic about.
CNR moment??? Eee-gads I hope I'm not alone in this...

I think it's sad that my real life is becoming synonomous with this place...when something happens, I think "oh, I can't wait to tell HT," lol. Any questions I have, "Oh I need to ask HT." WHen I got my exam results, I told DH, one friend, and then...you guys, lol.
And yes, this happens to me, I will simmer over something all day, sit down to respond, and it doesn't sound half as good as I thought, lol.

Nope, not alone. Have done that many times. Of course, I will not say why (age) it happens.

It is not so bad on HT, but let me walk from one room to the other, and I will sometimes forget what I went into that room for!!! That's what happens when your MIND is going faster than your BRAIN! NOW FIGURE THAT ONE OUT!!!

Just yesterday I was working on some raised beds in my garden.I needed something from under the shelter.I walked under the shelter and wonder what I am there after.Still don't remember ,but evidently, didn't need it to much,I'm through with them.
OP-Think of things I want to remember to say on the forum, then forget??Yep,but many times its a blessing, because many times its DELETED OR BANNED FOE SURE IDEAS or PHRASES Thank you Lord

YES.
The worst thing for me, is when I type a new thread, and somehow I bungle it, and it's gone into thin air.
1 minute later, I cannot remember what I was just typing. It was a very big deal to me, if I wanted to start a new topic. Yikes!

At work today, I was totally stoked about something. I was going to text a friend about it, but thought she'd probably just be like, "Um, okay?" So I smiled to myself when I thought, "All those homesteader folks would understand, I'll tell them!"
Then I got home... and have been playing online and reading posts here. And COMPLETELY forgot to mention it. *lol* So thanks for reminding me!
At work, they throw away all the jars and buckets that supplies come in. Tonight I was washing out 2 lovely 2-gallon buckets, and 2 slightly-larger-than-quart-sized jars. All came with lids that go on air-tight. I have already given a bunch of the buckets to my mother for her food storage, and now I'm keeping a bunch. I especially love the jars. They are square, but rounded on the edges, and the perfect size for things like cornstarch, and other smaller-amount items most of us keep in the kitchen. They are shorter and fatter than a canning-style quart jar, so they're easier to get things out of. They were made for salad dressing, but have screw-on lids. They are AWESOME!
So lately I've been contemplating finding a new job, and thinking to myself - I wonder how many more of these jars I can get by January? Then I laughed about it to myself. What kind of crazy person thinks of jars and buckets as a benefit?? Only people who like to prepare and homestead and stock up pantries and stuff. *lol*
So there you go. I'm weighing quit dates by the number of jars I'll be able to stock my pantry with before I go! *lol*

hahahaha! EXACTLY! then I usually sound ridiculous anyway, cause sometimes what is in my brain doesn't quite translate to my typing hands. it's scarey being me.
