Smile After 25 Years, We Finally Did It!!

It took a while but we finally bought a new mattress & box springs! I bought our Stearns & Foster set back in 1986 and it has held up really well. It's just been in the last couple of years that it's gotten a little too cushy for me. Hoping that the new Serta set will be better for my back too!

Trying out those new mattresses in the store, I could have gone to sleep right there! I don't think I realized how bad ours had gotten until I tried a new one. The new set won't be here till next Friday.

We are going to take our old set and put it in the guest room. The set that is in there is not as firm as our old set. Our church has collected mattresses and other furniture to send to the flood victims south of us. If there is room on the trailer, we're going to send our old guest room set down there.

That's exciting! Good night's sleep ahead I hope it wears as well for you as your old set!

Ours (a simmons beautyrest)I'm afraid did not. It was bought new less than 5 yrs ago, by 2yo it was sagging in the center Very disappointed. Just don't make them like they used to.

I bought a foam mattress in 2002. It still feels like the day it was delivered. I'll never go back to an innerspring mattress again.
