VW Rabbit Diesel Pick Up

Having trouble finding any catalogs that sell parts and things for my 1984 diesel VW P/U. (50 miles a gallon.) It's not a "vintage" truck but used daily. Have hunted and can not find any real info. but usually info for show type trucks. Anyone have any ideas for me ??

Other than sheet metal, it's pretty identical to the diesel Rabbit.

Google brought these guys up first, and they seem to have a decent supply of parts:

My dad had one years ago. Friend of his borrowed it, got drunk, and drove it off the road into a pond, about 15' of water. It stayed there until late summer, when the water level was low enough, and they pulled it out. Dont remember what all they did, but it didn't take much to get it running again. Tough little beast!

dh had one and oh how he loved that truck! He had a gasoline one and a diesel one. Wrecked the gas one and literally drove the diesel till it would go no more. He was traveling and it would barel get up to speed anymore and there wasn't a bug around for miles.......He worked on it and worked on it and it just wouldn't go anymore. He'd have one now if it would haul all his tools!

You can say what you want about the South,

europartsdirect.com is cheaper than partsplace and free shipping with a minimum order.
Had a 86 Golf diesel til a couple of years ago , loved it but it got to rusty. DH had a diesel 85 Jetta at the same time so we bought quite a few parts.
