Really light green zuchinnii?

I had some volunteer plants come up in the garden. 4 yellow squash and 1 zuchinni. They're all producing like crazy so we're getting round 2 of the "summer" veggies now. The zuchinni though are not dark green...they look like a cross between the squash color and the normal zuke color, a really light yellowish green. All the zukes I had earlier were dark. Has anyone grown or saved seeds from lighter colored zuchinni before?

Two years ago I had some come up that were such a pale green they were almost white. All the others from that seed packet were dark green/black.

I saved some of the seeds, but unfortunately got nothing last year when I planted them.

This year in one of my flowerbeds (that I added compost to this spring) I have a volunteer that looks like it's a cross between a long island cheese pumpkin and a butternut squash. I'm planning to eat those, since we like both of the suspected parents!

There are pastel green zucchini, usually called Lebanese. I grow a mix that has dark green, light green, and golden yellow.
