The gates of heck under Oklahoma have closed!

Saturday was another 100+ degree day. Then, Sunday morning it was suddenly cool.

Morning temperatures are in the low 60s and highs are in the 80s.

All this after a record-breaking more-than-100-degree days stretch this summer. (Cats were behind it, somehow.)

I can finally think of things to do that don't involve being safe from the heat.

I guess a wee bit of rain wouldn't be asking too much?

Oggie - I've been trying to nudge this AL rain over to TX via OK, and it's not working yet. But I'll keep trying!

We haven't got much rain(OK and KS keeping sending it North and South of me, darnit!) but I'd send it your way, Oggie. We had been in the high 90s and 100s for awhile and it's now a balmy 70something and it's like a weight has been lifted!

Yes, hallelujah, ain't it great?? I actually pulled on a lap blanket for the last half of the night, two nights in a row now, it feels downright decadent, lol!

Now we just have to hope we don't rush right into winter and all that ugly ice, lol. From one extreme to another around here, seems like. So how do you figure the cats play into the ice problems Oggie??

LOL

I'm glad it's finally cooling down for you over there Oggie. We just started having autumn like weather here too. Nice and cool at nights. Hope you get some rain. (Texas too.)

We got a good soaking with the return of cold weather. It's way too cold here. 56F. Brrr! I'm debating on whether to sleep in my coveralls tonight. Bring the heat back!
