Pine trees

I'll try to keep this short.. 80 acres total Mom owns 62 I have 13 and sister owns 5.Mom has 12 acres in nice trees 50yrs plus and mostly hardwoods. There are about 25 36" pines straight and 80ft tall. I built a barn in 08 and everything came from Lowes except the metal roof. BIL wants to build him one and thinks mom should give him the pines to have sawed for his new barn. She doesn't want to cause problems but she is tired of the give me world with them. She rarely comes on here so I got to ask what yall think ?????

I think he should have to pay her at least half of the market valvue. She should be allowed to pocket something for her trees. If there is a going to be a will down the line somewhere it might be wise to wait and let the "new" owner decide.
