Would You Like To See A Few Game Camera Pics?

Lots of elk on the game cameras we put up on our property. If you have some game camera pics to share, I'd love to see them.

No game camera but love seeing your pictures! We don't have elk right around our area so they are really nice to see.

Cool!

I saw elk for the first verifiable time on our July trip out to Colorado!

chalkcreek, I had to look twice at that last picture. What a rack!! I know hunters that would go weak in the knees over that one. Thanks for sharing.

ksfarmer, you have one of those animals that isn't supposed to exist, or at least that's what some game wardens say. That's a good clear photo! I'm talking about the picture of the cat, not the deer.

Actually , around here the bobcats are plentyful, it's the cougars that don't exist. We've seen them too but, can't seem to get one in front of the camera.

Beautiful Elk Chalk! Do you hunt or allow hunting on your property? If you do hunt it looks like you will have several nice bulls to pick from. They are a beautiful red,I didn't realize they were that color!
Thanks again for the pics! Always a pleasure to open your threads!

Amazing to have that many elk on your property! Beautiful. The GSM Park here, reintroduced elk back in 2001 in the Park with the help of the Rocky Mtn. Elk Assoc and Canada's Park system. It's been sucsessful so far...I think the population is up to around 150. Elk use to be native to this area, but were hunted until there were none left in the early 1800's. Hopefully, one day they will roam as free here again as they do there.

Thanks for the nice comments, everyone. Yes, they are quite tasty critters and elk meat has graced our table many times. We have a very healthy elk population here. We had a mild winter last year and most of yearlings survived, so there are lots of them this year. I love to watch them, listen to them. When I was through their favorites areas, it smells like walking through a corral, you can still smell them when they aren't there.

Thanks. Those were taken with a cheapie Wild View that I bought a Wal-Mart a few years ago. I also have one by Moultrie and one by Scoutguard. They both cost more and have more options than the Wild View. But that little Wild View is my favorite, it's so simple and easy to use and we've had excellent results with it.
