Anyone ever had a voodoo type curse put against them? What did you do?

My ex threatened to put curses on me. However, as a Christian, I believe the power of God is greater than anything that may come against me. I told my ex "Go ahead! My God will not allow any curse to touch me!" I haven't seen him since. It's been over 3 years since that time. I believe that claiming God's power as my protection scared him off.

Probably bust a gut laughing at them. Now that I think about it, that's my same reaction to global warming and nigerian 'help me get my money' scams.

The power of those curses seems to be that you (collective you) allow yourself to believe they have power. The mind is a VERY powerful tool, and a VERY powerful enemy.
I also believe in the above post regarding the power of Christ: Greater is He that is within you than he that is within the world. I did a very unfortunate Ouija game some time back and unleashed some...er, unpleasantness...on my life and my home. The power of Christ saved me, though for sure, He should have let me wallow for dealing with it to begin with.

Place a ring of salt all the way around your house in a clockwise way while reciting the Lord's prayer. This is a standard ring of protection.

More times then I can count. Seriously! In my line of work in South Florida I don't know anyone who hasn't. From the Haitians who practice Voodoo to the Cubans who practice Santeria I've been thoroughly cursed. I've even had live animals sacrificed on behalf of the curse and placed near my office. I haven't or never will worry about it. If you've been cursed, just think of yourself as special.

The super natural is very real and voodoo has power. However as a christian I know that if a christian is in right relationship with God and hasn't opened any doors for the enemy through sin then evil powers won't be able to get past Gods hedge of protection around you. If anything in your life gives or gave access to the enemy then seek out a deliverence ministry that specializes in breaking of curses and casting out of evil spirits.

You need to cut the head off a chicken and collect the blood, then write I do not believe in spooks on all your windows and doors with the blood and not leave your house for 30 days. Or you could just ignore it, either way nothing is going to happen
