Day Lily photos

I'm trying to get an old macro rig to work on a new digital camera body. The windy days aren't helping the shooting, any.

But, this morning, I got a couple of images that show promise.

I still need to rework the exposure to dial it in. Hopefully tomorrow.

Good detail. Set a honeybee in there and you're good to go. I have orange/red day lillies in the front beds but they haven't opened blooms yet. Later in the summer I have the pink tiger lillies that bloom.

Well, I went out and took a few more, this morning. By just about doubling the exposure, I think I'm getting closer to where it needs to be.

I'm beginning to like the more abstract ones, best.

I'm working away, and along comes this bug.

So, I shot him, too.
