Time Warner, Aaaaaarghhhh!

Eleven days ago the DVR in the cable box died and made the box inoperable. We were lucky and had a service call in about 24 hours. The guy put in a beat up old box that looked like he picked it up out of the trash on his way in. Well, today the DVR in that one gave out and now we have no TV until Tuesday evening. This is really getting annoying. If he doesn't bring a new box this time I'm going to their office and get one. The first box was new when we got it and lasted about 3 1/2-4 years. I think even a used one should last more than eleven days. I would just as soon not have the DVR, but the family can't stand watching commercials anymore. So they all sit out there in the living room with the big TV and watch their recorded shows while I sit in my room with my little TV, no cable box, and watch the programs commercials and all. Oh well, I guess it's worth $9.95 a month to keep them quiet. But I've about had it with Time Warner. It might be time for another service.
