We might get blown away

This wind is horrid! Well, it's not as bad as the remnants of the hurricane which blew through here a couple years ago but it's going to last longer and brings us rapidly dropping temps. Figures, I just put the last of the broccoli in the garden yesterday and by this weekend the overnight lows will be around 20*F! The leaves I hadn't yet raked but was planning on using for mulch will be blown to the next county, I think they would have even if I had got them raked into the fenced garden. Did I say this wind is horrid? Can't even watch the tv news because the wind is disrupting the signal so much. And of course this marks the official start of tornado season so when the sirens went off at 10:00 am instead of noon I immediately looked out the window thinking we were already in trouble.

Tornado watch for most of Ohio until 9:00 pm tonight. Gaaaahhhh, this is the part I hate about spring. I just hope we don't get the hail channel 10 was predicting. It's too windy to keep any protective covers on the broccolis.

So far we are just getting a loud thunderstorm. It woke me up from my nap.
