Touch Math???
LOL..LOL.. I am sitting here with granddaughters...the kindergartener asked me if I know "touch math"..... I was very amused when she begins to count on her fingers with her chin.......LOL..LOL...this is called "touch math"....LOL..sorry...I had to chuckle..

lol!! My middle two kids 6yr and 4yr do touch math also....but they use their nose.

Chisenbop? I think that's what they used to call it.

Heck, I remember when I was in first grade, getting called out by the nun for counting on my fingers. COSMICALLY shaming and embarrassing...

I'm glad that folks now find ways to make it easier for children to learn.

I have often performed very complex mathematical problems using my fingers tapping against my leg. It helps-somehow!

I still count on my fingers.....always have...Math is not exactly my strongest subject....LOL...it was just funny to hear it called Touch Math...like everyone's been doing this since probably the beginning of calcualtions..but suddenly it has a name...LOL...I remember teachers scolding students for this...Glad she can freely count on her fingers....just made me grin....
