Arrrrggggggg !!!!!

ARRRRGGGGGGG !!!!! I have been crazy here in NM. All that lovely cold weather and even though I had a tap running my water still froze and broke a line. AND my blackwater holding tank froze (PWEEEEEEEWWWWWWW).
Now I have a bunch of other problems cuz the cold and winds caused my skylight covers to crack and break, along with tearing at the outer lining of my front door. Add to that my dog busted out a window (that is for now covered with wood) and I am in a mess.
A gf of mine is offering me to purchase her trailer (she doesn't use it) for $6000. It is a 2001 32ft Prowler 5th wheel with 2 slides (one is a super slide). She will carry the note on it for me. Thinking about it cuz of all the problems I am going to have doing the repairs to this one. I am just in a quandry cuz I own this one outright, no debt. My mom thinks I should do it as she doesn' t think Duane would want me to have to do all of these repairs. My trailer is an 89 and it is starting to show it's age on the outside too. Guess I am just in a quandry and looking for others feedback........

sorry this was so rambly but my thoughts are running right now

Buy the other trailer............

You know that you really do not need to be trying to deal with the repairs on this one. And Mom is right. Duane would want you to get it.
Extra room is always a nice extra. You would have room to spread those crafts out more. lol

Upgrading a older trailer is like throwing new dirt on a steep hill while it is raining. ( got that one from my Dad)

I think you'll be ahead in the long run by going with the newer one. Add up all the repairs and the time it will take to do them. My guess is you will be putting a lot of money and labor into the old trailer and still have an old trailer with many more break down ahead for it.
