eek thats expensive. My health food store sells them for much much less. I also buy their organic beans (mostly mung and the red japanese ones that are similar to the mung, cant think of the name) and organic french lentils for sprouting. they are usually a buck or two a bag (lb to lb and a half of the heavier beans). I havent purchased the broccoli or alfalfa lately, but they are just a few dollars for a six or 8 oz packet.

I just realized that is a 5 kilo bag of alfalfa...that alot.
You probably have a few years supply.
We have a Chinese friend whp taught us to sprout years ago...He told us, the ancient Chinese mariners never got scurvy, because they sprouted seeds to eat (stores small and stays fresh)...pretty neat

DH ordered from them while he was overseas. We have enough to last us forever.

He got a countertop sprouter that sprinkles the seeds with water rather than soaking them. Last longer that way... well, unless you forget to change the water; then you get fermented chickpeas. Oops.
