Idea For Fence Post in Winter

Last week I was trying to figure out how to put up my temporary snow fence....I ended up using deck posts and cement blocks to keep it in place...but on my walk today the regional park had these temporary posts up to hold directional signs for the cross-country skiers, it's a neat idea. The base is ice:

What a great idea for someone like me who lives in a cold enough climate! Fill a bucket of water and place your post inside to freeze. By April it would have melted, but that would have been find by me for the winter!

Just thought I'd share the idea!

You could do the same thing with a bucket and a sack of sakcreat (spelling?) It's basicly concreat in a bag. just put your pole in, pour the concreat in and add water. You would have to have something to prop it up until it sets. But it would last for years and would be portable just like the ice.
