Thumbs up Google Earth Fun

I had been on Google Earth before just got back on and decided to use the Ground Camera View.

This is SOOOOOOOOO COOOOOOOOL! A person can go anywhere get an idea what the towns look like and the country side without ever leaving the Computer.

I know its not the same as being there but it gives a person an idea if they are wanting to visit.

I used Google Earth last week to look at the old horse barn where I use to board my horse. It was rather sad. The property was sold and the new owners apparently are not into horses. I could zoom in and see the barn. As well as the turnouts, and the riding ring and all of them were all grown in with brush and grass. You could still see fencing up. And there were no vehicles or horse trailers around it. Brought back some fond memories I had when I boarded there.

I have used Google Earth a handful of times. Never really gave it much attention though. Do they have pictures of small(er) towns, rural areas or is it just major cities?
