Time Flies

Wow... whether you're having fun or not, we're learning how fast time can fly. Exactly one ago, I arrived home from overseas to have some medical tests done for some pain I was having that could not be diagnosed properly in a war zone. Since landing, it has been a whirlwind of doctors and news. In that month, I was told I had renal cancer, had it removed and been home one week ago today. This past Monday my husband was diagnosed with diabetes and just today with sleep apnea. So needless to say, we're certainly looking at time differently now.
Because of my surgery, my income has went to zero and thankfully I have paid insurance until October. After that, we'll have to pay for it ourselves, but it has been a blessing to have it during this time.
But we're alive, and I'll find a way to make money. It's all relative... and now it's time to slow down and be thankful for what we have.
