Update on my test results

After 6 weeks now of sudden collapses, weakness etc, and being through bloodwork, x-rays, stress test, pulmonary function tests, etc, the doctor has yet to find anything wrong. I went to the cardiologist this morning for my results. I will be seeing my GP again on Thursday. The cardiologist is recommending that he refer me for neuro and GI evaluations.

I'll be perfectly honest. This is really getting me down. I'm so discouraged right now and to top it off, it seems like life in general is ganging up on me. Between the loss of 250lb of meat, the death of one of my favorite goats, having a tire blow out on my way home from the doctor, I feel like giving up!

There is nothing wrong with sitting down and having a good old-fashioned cry! I know it always makes me feel better.

You have really been put through the ringer lately. UGH! When I saw your thread on the freezer I thought to myself "how much can a person take!" Jeepers. You will get through it somehow and it's ok to feel like giving up. Have a good cry and then try to look at things in little pieces instead of one huge black cloud. I sure hope they can figure out what is going on with you. Hugs...you are in my thoughts and prayers.

I agree that it's time for a good cry and then restock and move on. Life stinks sometimes and I'm so sorry it's been so stinky for you lately!

Sorry you are having to go through all these trials. I will keep you in my prayers. I agree that it's time to have a pitty party for just a little while then keep on keeping on.

An EKG will not find an arrhythmia that comes and goes. Please ask your doctor about a two day Holter monitor and/or a 30 day event recorder. My atrial fibrillation wasn't found on a two day Holter monitor. In fact, it wasn't found until the end of my 30-day event recorder. They start with a Holter monitor. If nothing is found during that 2 day recording they do the 30 day recording.

It really sounds like they're not doing all the tests they should.

I'd second the Holter monitor, did the cardiologist not even mention it? These are the typical symptoms it's used to diagnose.
