Fleas!!

My Dad is in the process of buying a house. It was being rented and the man living there had a inside dog. The man moved out about a week ago....everything seemed fine until yesterday when we found fleas everywhere!! Put off some bombs and used some powder stuff but there are still some fleas.....any ideas??

Borax sprinkled on the carpet will help kill the fleas. Use a bag vacuum and throw the bag away. Fold the bag up and tape it shut. Don't throw the bag in your home trash but take it outside and dispose of it there.

There are several more ideas on this thread.
Fleas help needed.

Agree with the Borax! Brush it in good with a broom, making sure to get corners and under and around any furniture if there is any. Include any cushions. I'm kind of assuming the house will be empty, but you never know.

Also, put a cheap flea collar in the vacuum bag or hose to kill any fleas you may vacuum up. Treat an area surrounding the house as well to try to keep fleas from riding in on you or your clothing.
