Met Jenn Yesterday !!

Well...kinda. We had a quick intro and conversation for about 15 minutes.

DH & I found a place about 2 miles from us that has u-pick tomatoes for $8 per 5 gal. bucket. We had picked 5 buckets & I decided to call Jenn & see if she wanted some too. She had previously PM'ed her # but we hadn't made any connection yet.

So, although she prob. thinks I'm crazy now...I'm glad to have at least said hello & look forward to a better "hello" soon.

Jenn, sorry it was so crazy, I hope we can catch lunch or something soon. Nice to meetcha !!

It is so cool to meet other HT'ers!

I'd love to meet Jenn sometime. Any chance you and Jenn will be picking tomatoes when Indiana's crop ripens...sometime in July?

Clovis, these tomatoes will probably be gone in a few more weeks. But I plan to make good of the time that they are here. Had a PROUD mama moment when my soon-to-be-married (but not totally domestic) dd mentioned making some homemade salsa before they are all gone. Woo-hoo!!

DH & I picked & delivered almost all of the 6 buckets we ended up with. I kept some but can go anytime since they are so close.

Will send cyber-support...but Indiana is a little far...lol.

Still plan a more proper & relaxed meeting with Jenn.

Thank you Sharon for the lovely tomatoes! We had capri salad (with basil, mozarella, and balsamic vinegar and olive oil) yesterday and today, and today I made guacamole. And tomato sandwiches are being eaten all over my subdivision this week thanks to your bounty. (It was a LOT of tomatoes, and I'm not canning them!)

You are a very busy lady- someday when things slow down for a second we will have lunch together. Nice to meet your husband and you! And of course I forgot to bring the garlic I wanted to share with you. Next time I head that way I'll drop some off with your daughter!
