BRP, The tics may never get bad, Tourette's has various levels, my one friend has it and never knew it till she was an adult, her and her son were diagnosed at the same time.

I have two sons with tourettes. My older son has learned to "conceal" it and unless you really know him you would never know. My younger son is on medication which controls it. Both of my boys are in college and have learned to manage the tourettes.

His Tics are very noticeable as far as fast nodding,I know they can get much more sever.

His Mom was told he would out grow it but just so happens they had a case on the Doctors that was very sever. The Guy was Grown,Married with a Child and they had operated on him and he was still having problems.

I know his case was not the norm but was very scary and a condition I don't know if I could handle living with.
