I feel like I won the lotto today.

Had sooo much to do today as I'm getting ready for company and just had a list of errands a mile long. SO I went and got a free breakfast at the farm and bought veggies and spuds for real good deals. I went the wrong way going home and decided to go ahead and stop at the thrift store since I was going that way anyway and wanted to do some spring clothes shopping. Well guess what? They had loads of couches for real cheap AND half off the real cheap prices. So I got the nicest one, a green one for $15! (I had no couches due to the dogs destroying them). For 15 bucks, I can have a spot for my guests to sit---and I decided to go get some bitter taste stuff so the dogs would leave it along. But first I had to get it home. It just so happened my neighbor with a big van pulled up. H ow lucky was that? Got the couch loaded and took it home. BTW, I got 4 outfits and a spring jacket for just shy of $10 (it was half off day of certain tag colors and everything I wanted jsut happened to have that tag color!) Did I mention my "new push lawn mower I got yesterday for $10 that a friend found at a thrift in the city for me? So I went to walmart to get bitter spray. Couldn't find it. I could of sworn I'd seen it there before. Asked the sales person to help me look. Found one hiding on the clearance shelf for $3. The last one (they will not be selling it anymore) and a shopper said she used the stuff and it really works on everything. Its a big bottle of it. boy I lucked out there too

Its a good day so far. Plus I got to hang out with my favorite 3 year old this morning.

LOL I actually bought meat today. A lb of lean ground beef and some chicken breasts. Mainly for my DH as I will be mostly dinning out the next week as I explore places with my visitors. He'll not be on vacation so he'll need good healthy lunches he can take.

Wow...now I know something is really going on. My DH, who's done the dishes maybe ONCE our entire marrage (5 years) and under extream duress (lol) did the dishes...twice! today all on his own. He cleaned the house and did laundry AND mowed the lawn and steamed the carpet TOO.

Friday night on my way out of work there was a guy in the waiting room of ER that was yelling Halleluja over and over and over again same pitch speed and tone, and the first song in my car to play on the radio (it was set on country) was this: When I get where I'm going by Brad Paisly and they sing Halleluja in it too... LOL at the time I thought. Dang, someone must be sending me a messege! I was amussed at the time by that thought but now I'm thinking possibly it could be true. Does that sound cheesy? Everything just kind of came together as the perfect day.
