I wondered what happened to global warming?? The weatherman reported last night that the first 6 days of April were the hottest in 128 years here in Michianna. Gonna freeze tommorow night. The cold wave should get to the eastern states in a couple days. Don't take your long Johns off just yet.

Same thing here in Northern Virginia - it's been as hot the past couple days as it ever gets here in the peak of summer.

Global warming deniers aside, for all the snow we got this winter, it wasn't a 'cold' winter here, and certainly not nearly as cold as last winter

Here, too. It's only been about three weeks since we let the last fire die out, and we hit around 90 the last couple of days.

We're supposed to get a break tomorrow. Supposed, I said supposed to drop back into the 70's. Maybe it'll stay a little more normal after this little heat spell.

It was 91 yesterday in the Northern Shenandoah Valley and it's supposed to be that hot today too. The woodstove is all cleaned out, the windows are open and the fans are running and all the boys are whinning, "Why won't you turn on the AC, we're hot!"

Cause it's supposed to cool off some this week-end that's why. I would like a little spring here.

Yep, mid to high 80s here also. Wish you folks up north would send down a little air condition. I know my cool weather crops would greatly appreciate it.

Same for here but are now back to spring.

We went from 51º to 89º last Wednesday.
Last night we went from 81º to 39º and have a forecast high today set at 54º. Tough on the body to keep adjusting to such wide swings.

I want some spring also.

It has been snowing off and on here since last Friday, in which we ended up with 5 inches of the white stuff. And have had snow flurries every day since. I wouldn't mind some spring to.
It is a warm morning here 32 already and we are supposed to have a clear day for a change with a bad snow storm coming in tomorrow.

Kids have been in shorts for over a week now...IN OHIO!! It will all come to a quick end tonight when the first batch of rain moves in, high of 45 and rain for Friday. I chopped wood because that 45 on Friday will feel allot colder then the 45 we felt 3 weeks ago! 3 weeks ago if was a "warm 45",
