Power bill down!!

I got my power bill for this month. $61 for an 1800sqft home. I think it must have to do with my new water heater. Last month was almost $300 because the old water heater went out and was pouring hot water all over my crawl space. Of course the water bill went up too. Well, I have a new 50gal Energy Star (that was marked down the to same price as the 40gal). I'm very happy, because other than the water heater, I've used more power than usual with some of the renovations I'm doing in the house. My normal bill is $70-80/month.

ok you make me want to go throw up...
our electricity bills are obscene...after getting a $400 bill I asked about a level pay program...my payment for such would be $270 per month.
