Thumbs up Rival Electric Skillet

This is the best electric skillet I've ever owned. I got it for Christmas and love it. It makes the best stir-fry ever.. MMMMM GOOD!
Now I can prove I do cook.. I've always posted recipes or helped others but thought it high time to post a photo of what I do fix at times. Gosh was this good tonight. Talking about easy to clean it sure is..

Rival Electric Skillet - Countryside Families

The Rival Electric Skillet provides all the benefits of a large electric skillet, with easy clean-up you never thought possible! Enjoy the innovative convenience of a 12"X16" removable pan for easy clean up. Held in place by the locking stay-cool base handles while you cook, the nonstick coated pan lifts right off when the handles are unlocked. This makes serving, storing and transferring food easier than with any other electric skillet. And since the pan and tempered glass lid are both dishwasher safe, clean-up has never been simpler! The Rival Fry Pan Electric Skillet has digital temperature control that gives you more precise heat for consistent cooking and great results. The digital timer lets you know just how long to cook and simmer your delicious dishes and the "Preheat" and "Ready" lights let you know when your skillet is ready to cook.

Rival Fry Pan Electric Skillet Features:
Die-cast aluminum pan
Lid has twist open/close steam vent handle
Measures approx. 22"L x 14"W x 8"H
Pan and lid are dishwasher safe; wipe-clean base

I have one that is almost 25 years old and still love it. I take it with me when I cook for a crowd but have no kitchen and it is great for holidays.

My mom has an old Rival electric skillet that is older than I am. It has the cloth-wrapped cord. lol. I have eaten many a meal cooked from that thing.
My daughter's friend bought a new Presto electric griddle for me for Christmas, but I just now received it today. Looking forward to using it, especially when I move this year- I won't have my gas hooked up for a while, so will sure be happy to have this electric griddle.
