Is Santa Clause real?

You bet he his! I saw proof of it one Christmas Year.

It was Christmas of 1966. It was the first white Christmas that I ever remember seeing and I was just a young lad of 6 years old. Christmas was so exciting cause I knew I had been a very good boy and I knew when I awoke on Christmas morning, there would be a toy with my name on it from Santa Claus. And I was right. When I awoke their underneath the big Christmas tree was a Daisy BB gun, just for me.

But that's not my proof that Santa Claus exist. That Christmas morning we awoke to about 4 inches of snow all over the ground. I walked out on the front porch and their in the fresh snow layed two sleigh tracks all the way across the front lawn. The tracks started right close to the front porch, ran across the front lawn, through the front fence as if magic, crossed the dirt road and quit as if it had successfully taken off and cleared the fence across the road.

Now that made me a believer of Santa Claus for years to come. In fact I was probably the last boy in my class to quit believing that Santa was real. I was severely ridiculed of it too! But for years I never understood how the tracks got their. Their were no foot prints in the snow indicating that someone had made the tracks. But how did they get there.

Years later I finally figured out what made the tracks when I happened to visit that old place during a snow fall. I seen the tracks again. Once again there was no indication of anyone making the tracks. But looking up, the secret was revealed. High line wires. Two of them. Snow would build up on the lines and with a little wind it would blow the snow off and make two sleigh tracks across the lawn.

Merry Christmas everyone and I hope you have a good 2010 year.

In 1966 I also saw Santa!! I was 3 and at my Nannie's house in Enid, OK. (Coincidence, OCB, I think not!) They wanted me to go to bed so Santa could come, and as I walked through the living room I heard bells ringing, saw a flash of red and white, saw the front door open and felt the cold blast of winter air. I yelled for my mother and she came to see, but didn't believe me. There were more presents under the tree, the stockings were full and when I cried and insisted she opened the front door for both of us to see BOOT PRINTS. No sled tracks, but there were men's boot prints out there in the snow.

To this day I believe in Santa because I SAW him. Seriously, this rates among the few things in my life I can't explain. He was THERE.

I knew Santa was real because I left grass that I had picked from the yard for the reindeer, and it was gone in the morning!!!!!

Something strange happened when I was already well into adulthood. This was in the 1980's and I was living in the city.

There was an inch or so of snow on the ground. This was within a couple of days of Christmas- I can't remember if before or after.

I was walking to go somewhere- I don't remember where- but I was walking down an alley when I saw something most puzzling.

A small animal had walked partway down the alley. It left hoof prints about an inch long. I followed the prints until they turned into a yard and disappeared.

I am not making this up! These were HOOF prints about an inch long! They looked exactly like deer tracks except for being so tiny. I followed the prints where they went, and where the trail began, and I could not figure out what kind of tiny hoofed animal would be walking around in a city alley.

The verse: "8 tiny reindeer..." started playing in my head.

Of course it wasn't one of Santa's reindeer, but what was it??? (That's a serious question if anyone has any idea).

I snuck down and peaked through the rails on my staircase when I was about 7 years old and saw him across the room putting presents under the tree! (I don't think I told anyone because I didn't think they'd believe me!)

Yes! He's real!

As long as there is hope and love in the world, there will be Santa Clause!
I hope the world never reaches the point where no one believes. It will be at that point we are all doomed.

Is there a Santa Clause? As for me, I BELIEVE!

Merry Christmas and God Bless!!!

I seen the REAL Santa, and even talked to him. In 1937 I was with my Mom and Dad in a good sized Dept store in the evening. I was about 3. As we walked down an asile Old Santy stepped right out in front of me. He squated down and asked some nosey questions like if I had been a good boy. I think that is what teaches little kids ti lie. Then he asked what I wanted him to put under my tree. I had seen a little yellow steel wind up car, and I told him about it. He shook my hand and told me to go to bed early.
I know that he was the real thing because I found the car under our tree. Problem came when our hired man steped on it and mashed that sucker flat.
