Background music question

My daughter is doing a picture/movie thing with all the kids' pictures. She needs background music. Any ideas???? The kids are 5,6, and 11. I think something country, and not too raucous?

Other suggestions I got were "My Wish" and "I Hope You Dance". Any others? I'll have to see if I can find a youtube of "Thank God for Kids".

Turn Around is a good one, though not country. I like the Perry Como version best, but it's for a girl. I think there may be a version for a boy too. Kodak used to use it in their commercials many years ago.

Where are you going, my little one, little one,
Where are you going, my baby, my own?
Turn around and you're two,
Turn around and you're four,
Turn around and you're a young girl going out of my door.
Turn around, turn around,
Turn around and you're a young girl going out of my door.

Where are you going, my little one, little one,
Little dirndls and petticoats, where have you gone?
Turn around and you're tiny,
Turn around and you're grown,
Turn around and you're a young wife with babes of your own.
Turn around, turn around,
Turn around and you're a young wife with babes of your own.

Rod Stewart - the Rhythm of my Heart ( i think that is the title)
The rhythm of my heart
is beating like a drum
the words I love you
rolling off my tongue

Beautiful ballad. Used to dance with ds (now 18) to this one when he was an infant.

DH & I always felt the song was a parent to child kind of song...

but maybe you'd want to listen to all the lyrics...I'm not known for catching all the words!

Speaking of Rod Stewart, his Forever Young would be a good one too.

May the good Lord be with you
Down every road you roam
And may sunshine and happiness
surround you when you're far from home
And may you grow to be proud
Dignified and true
And do unto others
As you'd have done to you
Be courageous and be brave
And in my heart you'll always stay
Forever Young, Forever Young
Forever Young, Forever Young

May good fortune be with you
May your guiding light be strong
Build a stairway to heaven
with a prince or a vagabond

And may you never love in vain
and in my heart you will remain
Forever Young, Forever Young
Forever Young, Forever Young
Forever Young
Forever Young

And when you finally fly away
I'll be hoping that I served you well
For all the wisdom of a lifetime
No one can ever tell

But whatever road you choose
I'm right behind you, win or lose
Forever Young, Forever Young
Forever Young ,Forever Young
Forever Young, Forever Young
For, Forever Young, Forever Young

I make a lot of DVD music slideshows and everyone's favorite is
Israel Kamakawiwo'Ole 'IZ' 'Somewhere Over The Rainbow'
It is perfect!
I downloaded it from iTunes. Here is a link to him on YouTube.
