Smile Here is how we remember people at Christmas

I really don't know how to word the topic so tried to worded it best I knew how.

I don't know how you all remember others at Christmas time that works at grocery stores, drug stores, doctors or others.

Here our family each year makes the old fashion chex party mix to share with others. We make it homemade nothing fancy as we don't like fancy stuff. We make huge things of it an fix up gift bowls or boxes for all the workers as lots of times other people don't remember them for Christmas at all nor understand how hard they work throughout the year. Our family feels that we should share something with these people each Christmas. Like this Christmas we are inviteing a lady into our home that doesn't have no family near her. So we wanted her to know that others care about others on this special day.

In our family Christmas isn't just about giving gifts but it also to remember others that may not have a family near them or etc..

God Bless Everyone on this board..Keep smiling as God wants us to help others in need of a friend.

Don't forget- everyone loves cash

Miss Manners says men workers often get cash and women workers often get cookies. Don't discriminate! The women nowadays need as much as the men. I stock up on $5s or $10s and even write checks. Since the schoolbus driver has such an intimate and important relationship with my kids cash seems too crass so they get a mall gift certificate!

But also beware gift certificates BTW- who would have thought last year that a circuit city gift cert. would be worthless today?

My dad apparently has been making caramel corn all November and now December.
