sulfur smell

About 2 weeks ago a tree fell in the yard next to us. since then there has been a very bad smell. And it's getting stronger.
Could this be the tree? It's a spruce I think. or is there some thing else that could cause the smell?

Did it fall on your septic tank? Or an animal? Missing any pets or family members? Sorry. Couldn't resist.

That was quite a storm, huh? Don't know about the sulfur smell though. The Jr. High looks bare!

If you have natural gas lines in the area, call the gas company.
