Chick-fil-a Cow Appreciation Day? Do you have a photo to share?

Anybody here attend CAD last Friday? How it works is once a year they have CAD where you visit your local Chick-fil-a dressed like a cow, and in return you get a free combo meal of your choosing. My kiddos wanted to attend, so we made cow costumes.

The free meal was great, but the best part was the fun we all had making the cow costumes!

We don't have a Chick-Fil-A here. I would have done that if we did LOL.

Those are certainly some healthy looking calves you got there.

Perfectly adorable!

Misty sat up late the night before making a cow outfit for Ayla our little GD. One of the Chick-fil-a stores had an actual cow there as you can see in the picture.

Also, we entered her in the CAD contest. If you are so inclined could you go to this link and vote for Ayla? She could win some nice prizes including a savings bond.

So we are not the only Chick-fil-A fans?

We also took advantage of CAD, where we all dressed as cows. We met the in-laws, who also dressed for the occasion. A totally free meal tastes so good!

I hate to admit this, but we went to 2 CFA's that day. If you are going to go to the trouble of dressing yourself as a holstein, why not go all out? The second CFA was also having a family night with a petting zoo and pony rides, which DD loved.

I am not sure that we got pictures, but I will post one if we did.

DD had so much fun dressing like a cow that she has dressed up 2 times since then. It is funny to see her walking around with a tail and acting like a talking cow!!!!

We really enjoy this event at Chick!!!!! It is our second or third year. It is worth it just to see all the outfits and creativity! I don't know which I enjoy more, the entire families that dress in super nice, hand sewn, homemade costumes, or the college kids that that desperately throw an outfit together with not much more than a white tee and duct tape!

Long live cow appreciation day!!!!!

Clove

Thanks everyone

Funny zong! LOL. Yes, with our size family we have a big econoline van.. but not a moooooving van sadly! LOL.

Daddyof4 - *Love* Ayla's costume, too cute! We also entered in the CAD photo contest, but the one on Facebook, not on the Chick-fil-A website.

Clove, looking forward to the photos if you have them! My two youngest love the cow costumes so much they wear them as often as possible... it's been quite the change from the usual tiger and/or cat play acting, LOL!

If you can remember, you should consider reposting this next year, one week before the Cow Appreciation Day. I bet lots of folks would enjoy this free meal.

We have done it in most years past, but didn't do it this year. It was always a lot of fun! Since my son works part time at a CFA, he was glad that he didn't work on Friday though as it can get quite hectic.
