Eight years ago...
Eight years ago today, my Irish Rose stood in front of my family, our friends, our church, and God, and made me the happiest man in the world by saying two words: “I do.” With those two simple yet profound words, she changed my life in ways I never imagined and added a dimension that my life had been lacking.
Over the years, life has taken many turns that we never expected, but through it we have both grown and we have grown closer. We have shared pain, grief, laughter and joy. Together, we have achieved our common dreams and goals, and we have learned to cherish each moment the Lord has given us. We have learned a lot about life, but we have learned more about love.
Rose, thank you so much for who you are, and for what you mean to me. I love you more than I can possibly tell you, and I thank God for bringing you into my life. Although we can’t be together today, we are together in spirit, and that will never change. Happy anniversary darling, I love you.
