Waiting on a little warmer weather here, but DH and I are planning on fishing a nearby lake we have permission to fish. Lake did a big turnover last year, but hoping some of them monster bluegill survived.

You all fish from a boat or off the bank?

wow, that sounds like fun! Biggest fish I ever caught on a pole was a 45 lb catfish and I thought it was gonna drag me in the lake. I ain't never done no spoonbill fishing. Is it similar to catfishing?

Oh, I love spoon bill. My folks used to fish for it below the dam at Gavins Point. They got some big ones. Wonderful when cooked with beer batter. Enjoy
