American Community Survey?

Did anybody else get one of these from the US Census Bureau??? We got a letter last week saying we had been "randomly chosen" to get this, and the form arrived today. Or should I say, the BOOK arrived. Geez Louise, this thing is going to take as much time as doing our taxes !!! And of course, it came with the appropriate threats of what will happen if we don't do it...
I am getting tired of being singled out for this stuff. When they did the last census in 2000, we were "chosen" to fill out the long, involved version. Then a few years after that, we had to fill out a big long Farm Census form. They say the people are chosen randomly, but I don't believe it. I'm not one of those people who get paranoid about giving them the info, I am just annoyed that I am going to have to spend time on one of these things, again. I only hope it will benefit us in some way, since right now our income is so low compared to others in this area. Maybe remind the local politicians that some of the pockets they plan to pick, are already empty....
