Update on my son - GREAT news

We just got back from the hospital, and they had the results of Alex's last heart test. His heart function is back to normal!!

Now, he still has many issues, such as the hole in his heart, as well as his underdeveloped left lung, but at least we don't have to worry about his actual heart function. Tomorrow they're going to try and get him off his respirator, and see if his lungs can start developing better.

Thanks everyone for keeping us in your prayers. God bless.

Getting him off that vent will be a giant step....and he will do it...it might take a little while to get weaned off it...but he will...it is just nerve wracking watching...but they will keep a close eye on him...This is answered prayer!!...We got to keep praying for complete healing...These little guys have a lot of spunk in them...MissKitty

Bruenor, are they telling you the hole in his heart can mend itself? Our daughter had a rough birth and had a hole in her heart. By the time she was 4 months old it had healed itself. God did it and she is fine today. 14 years later. Praying your little man get out of that hospital soon.
