gift drawings

Wow, there are a lot of us on here that seem to have something that we make or our generous spirit is having us in the gift giving mood. To share our talents with others, we could do a gift name drawing on here. Anyone interested in this?

I think it might be neat. Kind of like our ornament exchange, ya know

I have done things like this on another website I visit and it was always terrific fun to hear what everyone gave and recieved. I exchanged with a person in England (we now email back and forth) And it was so cool to get the box and the treasure that was in it.

Yep, in the Homemaking Swap forum there is the Annual Anything Handmade Swap is in sign up mode.

You may want to drop down a few forums and take a look. It's fun and you get a partner and exchange pm's, emails, etc - then the exchange...

I've done it for 3 or 4 years. have some neat experiences.

Since there is something similiar on the Homemaking board, I would hate to detract from that. I think the give-aways right now are pretty fun, so let's just stick with that for now. With all of them and the card and ornament exchange there is a lot going on in the giving department! And if you see someone you feel has a special need you can always just send something to them personally.
