Hay is in the Barn

Finally got the hay delivered today...50 bales...enough for old Hombre the LongHorn to feed on over the winter, and the goats, even the Llama loves hay in his tubs. Cost $300, was $6 a bale delivered, they stacked it in the barn as well, they did not want DH to do it, they were really very strong, healthy women ! Bless their hearts, They just worried about Hombre jumping over the fence...LOL...He was staked out, just watching, waiting to run in and get his share for supper.

It's a good feeling, isn't it? I got my hay delivered today, too. It's stacked and ready for the winter, and I just stood there a while admiring it this afternoon.

I'm going to knit a pair of wool socks for the gentleman who brought it over for me by way of saying thank you.
